Msitu360 is a Zambia-based organisation creating sustainable systems that help children learn, women prosper, and youth lead. We focus on building long-term, community-driven solutions that integrate nutrition, livelihoods and leadership to strengthen thriving communities.
Our work is rooted in innovation, sustainability, equity, teamwork and community ownership, with programmes designed to complement government efforts and create lasting impact for future generations.
Three problems. One connected answer.
Child nutrition
Nutritious school meals every day, so children can concentrate, learn and stay in school.
Women's livelihoods
Paid, trained Zambian women run our kitchens and lead our programmes. They are employees, not beneficiaries.
Circular economy
Solar-powered, zero-waste food production that keeps value, and jobs, in Zambian communities.
Our mission and vision.
To design and support community-led pathways that transform food and livelihood systems from vulnerability to resilience through circular, nutrition-centred models, leadership development and locally grounded innovation.
To see communities leading resilient, nutritious and economically viable food systems that are locally owned, sustainably governed and built to thrive independently.
It started with one school kitchen.

What guides every decision we make.
Six principles that shape how we design programmes, work with communities and measure success.
Equity
We prioritise inclusion, ensuring women, youth and marginalised groups are central to opportunity, decision-making and benefit.
Innovation
We apply adaptive, context-driven solutions that respond to real challenges and evolve with the communities we serve.
Sustainability
We build systems designed to endure environmentally, economically and socially, beyond short-term interventions.
Community ownership
We believe lasting impact happens when communities lead, decide and own the systems that shape their lives.
Leadership
We invest in developing local leaders who can drive, sustain and scale change from within.
Systems thinking
We address root causes, not symptoms, designing integrated solutions that connect food systems, livelihoods, nutrition and governance.
From one school to a national system.
